My beautiful daughter Eleanor Grace is now 2 months old, and if there was one thing I would love her to inherit from me it would be my love of reading. One of my earliest memories is my mother teaching me to recognise letters, and I was hooked on books, reading and learning ever after.
Eleanor is being baptised later this month, and some kind friends have asked to mark the occasion with a gift. It didn't take Adam or I long to decide that we would love our family and friends to share their favourite books with Eleanor and that this would be a great way of ensuring that Eleanor gets years of enjoyment from her baptism presents, and also gets to know the special people we're lucky enough to know and share our lives with.
I've created this blog as a way to log Eleanor's library, and can't wait to see how it grows!
